Of Roses and Lace: Inside Magda Butrym’s World of Femininity

Magda Butrym at Paris Fashion Week presentation unfolded as an intimate exploration of contemporary femininity.

Polish designer Magda Butrym continues to captivate with her blend of Slavic sensuality and modern form. In 2025, she celebrated the 10th anniversary of her brand, debuted at Paris Fashion Week, launched a collaboration with H&M;, and was listed in the prestigious BOF 500 ranking — among the most influential figures shaping global fashion. It marked the first time in history that a Polish designer received this distinction, opening a new chapter for Polish design on the international stage.

Following her Spring/Summer 2026 show at Paris Fashion Week, Magda Butrym opened her showroom in the heart of Paris, where clients from around the world could experience the collection up close — touch the fabrics, observe the details, and place their orders. Inside the elegant apartment on Boulevard de Courcelles, the atmosphere was intimate and warm. Models presented selected looks chosen by clients, allowing each guest to sense the essence of the brand. The entire space felt infused with quiet luxury.

The Spring/Summer 2026 collection is a tribute to femininity — delicate forms, architectural draping, sensual textures, and sculptural silhouettes. These are pieces that balance modernity and romance — wearable works of art. I visited on the second day of the showroom, and it was still crowded. Sunlight poured through the tall windows, illuminating silks, leather, and lace. The air carried the scent of roses — as if Paris itself was breathing in Magda Butrym’s rhythm.
